    On page 2 of the printed bill, delete lines 4 to 7, inclusive, and insert:

"    Section 2. That § 36-25-19.1 be amended to read:

    36-25-19.1. Any person who is responsible for the installation of plumbing work shall pay a plumbing inspection fee. The plumbing inspection fee shall be the sum of a plumbing installation certificate fee plus a plumbing permit fee. The commission shall establish by rule, promulgated pursuant to chapter 1-26, the plumbing permit fee and the plumbing installation certificate fee. The plumbing permit fee for a single-family dwelling unit may not exceed seventy-five dollars. The plumbing permit fee for a multiple-dwelling unit or a public building may not exceed two hundred fifty dollars. The plumbing installation certificate fee may not exceed ten dollars.

    The number of inspections for each permit is limited to three inspections. The commission may charge a fee of fifty dollars for any inspection in excess of the three allotted inspections. ".
