DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES OVERVIEW

Amy Iversen-Pollreisz, Interim Secretary, Department of Social Services, along with Brenda Tidball-Zeltinger, Deputy Secretary, provided an overview and basic information about the department to the committee and responded to committee questions. (Handout #1). Ms. Iverson-Pollreisz introduced Department Division Directors. Virgena Wieseler, Director, Division of Child Protection Services, also responded to committee questions.

    SB 30: remove certain unnecessary federal references and dates from certain provisions relating to the Department of Social Services.
