    The Senate convened at 12:00 p.m., pursuant to adjournment, the President presiding.

    The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Rev. Robert Bogart, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Senate page Camryn MacDonell.

    Roll Call: All members present except Cronin, Curd, Partridge, Schoenbeck, Soholt, and Solano, who were excused.

APPROVAL OF THE JOURNAL

MR. PRESIDENT:

    The Committee on Legislative Procedure respectfully reports that the Secretary of the Senate has had under consideration the Senate Journal of the third day.

    All errors, typographical or otherwise, are duly marked in the temporary journal for correction.

    And we hereby move the adoption of the report.

    I have the honor to inform your honorable body that the House has approved the adoption of the temporary joint rules adopted by the Ninety-fourth Legislative Session as the permanent joint rules for the Ninety-fourth Legislative Session with the changes adopted in the Joint Legislative Procedures Committee report.

    Sen. Langer moved that the report of the Joint-Select Committee relative to the arrangements for a memorial service for the Ninety-fourth Legislative Session as found on page 50 of the Senate Journal be adopted.
