"
    After any redistricting required by the laws of this state, a legislator continues to represent the same numbered district, even if the legislator is no longer a resident of that district, until the next general election.

    Beginning in 2020, one-half of the Legislature shall be elected every two years, and shall alternate between even and odd numbered districts. In 2020, the even numbered districts shall be elected to a four-year term and the odd numbered districts elected to a two-year term. Each election thereafter shall be for a four-year term.".
