    The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Pastor Craig Wexler, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Senate pages Autumn Wieseler and Grace Weinheimer.

        A LEGISLATIVE COMMEMORATION, Honoring and congratulating Lyle and Lisa Magorien and Chase Auto and R.V. for being named the Fort Pierre Business of the Year.

    WHEREAS, the Fort Pierre Development Corporation, a corporation promoting business growth and retention, tourism, and quality of life in Fort Pierre and Stanley County, recently selected Chase Auto and R.V. as the Fort Pierre Business of the Year for 2017; and

    WHEREAS, Chase Auto and R.V. of Fort Pierre was established in 2000, and expanded into a larger building in 2014 allowing the business to increase its selection of pre-owned cars, trucks, and SUV's and to expand the parts and services available for recreational vehicles; and

    WHEREAS, Chase Auto and R.V. carries all types of trailers including cargo, dump, utility, snowmobile, motorcycle, auto, ATV, stock, horse and utility trailers, and is the only new and used camper dealer in central South Dakota:

    NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT COMMEMORATED, by the Ninety-Third Legislature of the State of South Dakota, that Chase Auto and R.V. be honored and congratulated for being selected by the Fort Pierre Development Corporation as the Fort Pierre Business of the Year for 2017.
