"
    Section 1. That chapter 32-22 be amended by adding a NEW SECTION to read:

    Notwithstanding the provisions of §§ 32-22-3 and 32-22-3.2, any self-propelled farm machinery exceeding one hundred two inches but less than two hundred sixteen inches may operate on the state trunk highway system between one-half hour after sunset and one-half hour before sunrise if the equipment has flashing or rotating white or amber warning lights placed at each side of the equipment's widest extremity. The warning lights shall be clearly visible to motorists approaching from front and rear. This section does not apply to the interstate highway system."
