    The House convened at 11:00 a.m., pursuant to adjournment, the Speaker presiding.

    The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Larry Cass, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by House pages Layna Darling, Clayton Keck, and Mindy Ravnass.

    I have the honor to inform your honorable body that the Senate has approved SB 64 as recommended by the Governor, pursuant to Article IV, Section 4, of the Constitution of the State of South Dakota, for changes as to style and form. The recommendation of the Governor is found on page 620 of the Senate Journal.

    We hereby request your favorable consideration in approving the recommendation of the Governor as to style and form on SB 64.

Also MR. SPEAKER:

    I have the honor to inform your honorable body that the Senate has approved SB 65 as recommended by the Governor, pursuant to Article IV, Section 4, of the Constitution of the State of South Dakota, for changes as to style and form.     The following prayer was offered by Chaplain, Larry Cass.

    God, as the 2016 session of the House closes, may all Representatives go home knowing that they have run the race well and that the actions of this legislative session set a good course for the next year. As you leave today, may you know that you have provided a good and needed service for the state of South Dakota. For those of you who are facing term limits, you can leave with a feeling of success for the years served. Your efforts are appreciated. We pray for good, dedicated individuals to serve as your replacements. For those of you who will be returning next year, we thank you for your dedication to the duties you will be carrying out. We pray that if a special session is required this summer, it will be a productive session that will serve the needs of this state and its citizens in a positive and efficient way. We pray for safe travels as you return to your homes. Amen.
