HCR 1010     (HJ p. 700) Supporting the “25 by 25" Initiative and promoting the increased production of renewable energy by the agricultural community.
SB 53 *    (Consideration of House Amendment, HJ p. 637) revise certain provisions related to capital punishment.
SB 162 *    (Consideration of House Amendment, HJ p. 617) revise certain provisions related to the confidentiality of certain geological reports.
SB 176 *    (Consideration of House Amendment, HJ p. 600, 722) authorize the Legislative Research Council to remodel, renovate, and furnish certain facilities on the fourth floor of the State Capitol Building for use by the Legislature, to make an appropriation therefor, and to declare an emergency.
SB 180 *    (Consideration of House Amendment, HJ p. 723) make an appropriation to provide certain refunds of sales tax on food.
SB 188 *    (Consideration of House Amendment, HJ p. 638, 730) establish high performance building design and construction standards for newly constructed or renovated state- owned buildings.
SB 192 *    (Consideration of House Amendment, HJ p. 732) authorize a grant for the design and construction of an instructional classroom building, and to make an appropriation therefor.
     Authorize the Board of Regents to lease a site for delivery of public higher education in Pierre and to use money appropriated by the Legislature from the higher education facilities fund to make lease payments therefor.



CONSIDERATION OF REPORTS OF CONFERENCE COMMITTEES

HB 1037     (SJ 31st LD) revise certain provisions regarding action on medical claims for workers' compensation and to establish an administrative fine for delays regarding these medical claims.
HB 1293     (SJ 31st LD) provide for the removal of dead deer from certain highways.

HB 1279 *    (Deferred from 31st LD) align math and science education with South Dakota's historic and unique scientific opportunities, to direct the Department of Education to initiate Project Lead the Way, to develop a clearinghouse for certain educational opportunities, and to provide for an independent analysis of the state's content standards, and to make an appropriation therefor, and to require the Department of Education to develop a framework for a high school for the twenty-first century, and to require high schools to report on activities and results relative to that framework.
HB 1076     (Deferred from 31st LD) revise the funding for K-12 education.

HB 1226 *    (Deferred from 31st LD) provide funds to the postsecondary technical institutes.
HB 1227 *    (Deferred from 31st LD) appropriate money to postsecondary technical institutes for the maintenance and repair of buildings.
HB 1087 *    (Deferred from 31st LD) revise the General Appropriations Act for fiscal year 2008 regarding appropriations to the Department of Executive Management, the Department of Revenue and Regulation, the Department of Game, Fish and Parks, the Department of Transportation, the Department of Education, the Board of Regents, the Department of Human Services, and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.



HB 1085 *    (Deferred from 31st LD) authorize the South Dakota Building Authority to provide for the construction, reconstruction, renovation, and modernization of science facilities and laboratories at public universities and to make an appropriation therefor.
HB 1069     (Deferred from 31st LD) make an appropriation to the coordinated natural resources conservation fund and to declare an emergency.
HB 1047 *    (Deferred from 31st LD) make an appropriation to assist sparse school districts.

LEGISLATIVE COMMEMORATIONS

SC 22     (SJ 31st LD) Recognizing and congratulating the Rapid City Stevens High School Volleyball Team for winning the 2007 Class AA State Volleyball Championship.
SC 23     (SJ 31st LD) Commending and honoring the 2007-2008 Madison High School Lady Bulldogs Gymnastics Team for its fourteenth consecutive state championship title in Class A Gymnastics and for setting the national record for consecutive gymnastics state championships.
HC 1022     (HJ p. 736) Honoring Trent Kubik of Hamill, 2007 South Dakota American Legion Boys State Governor, and Lauren Beadnell of Watertown, 2007 South Dakota American Legion Auxiliary Girls State Governor; and commending the South Dakota American Legion and Auxiliary for their sponsorship and coordination of the Boys State and Girls State programs.
