BILLS FOR POSSIBLE ACTION WHICH HAVE HAD PRIOR HEARING.
HB 1029 make an appropriation to the Department of Health to fund the rural residency
program and to declare an emergency.
The Committee on Appropriations at the request of the Department of Health
HB 1046 make an appropriation to the railroad trust fund and to declare an emergency.
The Committee on Appropriations at the request of the Department of Transportation
HB 1203 pay off bonds and make certain other changes necessary to effectuate a tuition freeze
by the Board of Regents and the technical institutes, to make an appropriation
therefor, and to declare an emergency.
The Committee on Appropriations at the request of the Office of the Governor
SB 84 require municipalities to reimburse the counties for certain judicial and law
enforcement expenditures.
Senators Haggar (Jenna) and Ewing and Representatives May, Conzet, Feickert, Klumb,
and Schaefer at the request of the Interim Committee on County Government
SB 92 continue a math pilot project at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology,
to make an appropriation therefor, and to declare an emergency.
Senators Haverly, Brown, Cammack, Ewing, Fiegen, Heineman (Phyllis), Novstrup
(David), Omdahl, Peters, Rampelberg, Soholt, Solano, Tidemann, Tieszen, Vehle, and
White and Representatives Partridge, Beal, Conzet, Cronin, Dryden, Duvall, Harrison,
Jensen (Alex), Langer, Mickelson, Peterson (Kent), Ring, Schoenfish, Sly, and Wollmann
HB 1061* provide a tuition benefit to certain teachers who enroll in courses under the
management and control of the Board of Regents that are not subsidized by the
general fund.
