HB 1271     abolish the doctrine of abatement ab initio of a criminal proceeding and to provide for the posthumous sentencing of certain criminal defendants.
HB 1302 *     revise certain notification requirements related to the placement of children under the Indian Child Welfare Act.
     Establish notification requirements for certain relatives of children in the custody of the Department of Social Services.

HB 1069     (Deferred from 28th LD) make an appropriation to the coordinated natural resources conservation fund and to declare an emergency.



HB 1087 *    (Deferred from 28th LD) revise the General Appropriations Act for fiscal year 2008 regarding appropriations to the Department of Executive Management, the Department of Revenue and Regulation, the Department of Game, Fish and Parks, the Department of Transportation, the Department of Education, the Board of Regents, the Department of Human Services, and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
HB 1085 *    (Deferred from 29th LD) authorize the South Dakota Building Authority to provide for the construction, reconstruction, renovation, and modernization of science facilities and laboratories at public universities and to make an appropriation therefor.
HB 1100 *    (Deferred from 29th LD) create a rebuttable presumption against the award of custody to any person with a proven history of domestic abuse.
HB 1107 *    (Deferred from 29th LD) revise certain provisions relating to the promulgation of rules to set various licensing and other fees for certain professions and occupations.
HB 1242     (Deferred from 29th LD) require the Department of Education and the Board of Regents to establish certain programs for children who are deaf and hard-of-hearing.
HB 1251 *    (Deferred from 29th LD) authorize the Board of Regents to acquire land for the Higher Education Center_West River.
HB 1263 *    (Deferred from 29th LD) establish a hunter mentoring program, to authorize hunting under certain conditions by persons less than sixteen years of age, and to authorize the Game, Fish and Parks Commission to promulgate rules.
HB 1314 *    (Deferred from 29th LD) authorize the Department of Game, Fish and Parks to sell and convey real and personal property located at the Spring Creek Recreation Area and to declare an emergency.

HB 1283 *     create a special class of alcoholic beverage licenses for full service restaurants and to provide for compensation of certain alcoholic beverage licenses.
     Revise on-sale alcoholic beverage licenses in municipalities and to declare an emergency.
HB 1300 *     require the Department of Education to develop a framework for a high school for the twenty-first century, and to require high schools to report on activities and results relative to that framework.
