    WHEREAS, South Dakota Farmers Union believes strongly in the talent and potential of rural South Dakotans and has worked to create partnerships throughout the state to cultivate that talent and potential to bring about economic development in our rural areas; and

    WHEREAS, South Dakota Farmers Union has a proud history and bright future as it continues to play an important role in agricultural policy in South Dakota:
