Let us pray:
Almighty God, we thank You for this day in January as we gather for the beginning of the
2015 Legislative Session. We give You thanks for the men and women who are gathered here
this day and the days to come. We ask that You grant them wisdom, patience, and insight as they
gather and work for the common good of the people of South Dakota. We thank You for their
willingness, gifts, talents, and perspectives. We also ask that You care for all who support and
work within the legislative process. We ask that all who come together to do this important
work would have safe travels, good health, and Your wisdom. In Your name we pray. Amen.
