On the House Judiciary Engrossed bill, delete the previously adopted amendment (HCR6001A).
On page 2, line 12, after "and" delete "BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Legislature requires, as a condition of the establishment of a tribal law enforcement training academy, that the training academy:
(1) Is not connected to or associated with, either directly or indirectly, the Department of Homeland Security Immigration and Customs Enforcement;
(2) Not be used as a detention center for individuals held in the custody of the United States Department of Homeland Security Immigration and Customs Enforcement; and
(3) Does not enter into a memorandum of understanding or memorandum of agreement with the United States Department of Homeland Security Immigration and Customs Enforcement; and"
On page 2, line 22, after "and" delete "BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Legislature expresses support for any effort made by the United States Department of Homeland Security to increase the funding appropriated for the purposes of increasing tribal law enforcement across the nation; and"
