The confirmation hearing of Kevin R. Griese, Hughes County, Pierre, South Dakota, as the Assistant Adjutant General, Army, was deferred until Wednesday, January 29, 2014.

Dusty Johnson, Governor's Office, presented brief comments in support of the appointment of Laurie Gill as the Commissioner of the Bureau of Human Resources. Laurie Gill introduced herself to the commitee and made some brief comments.
