An Act to
limit the amount of
money that may be transferred to a candidate
or
campaign committee, a
political action
committee,
or a political party
by the authorized committee of a candidate for federal office.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of South Dakota:
Section 1. That a NEW SECTION be added to chapter 12-27:
A
candidate with an authorized committee, as defined in 52 U.S.C. §
30101, et seq. (January 1, 2025), may not transfer more than ten
thousand dollars per year, to any
political committee
candidate campaign committee, political action committee, or
political party
organized pursuant to this chapter.
