"    Section 3. No hauler or transporter of waste may be prosecuted for unlawful release of medical waste under section 2 of this Act unless the hauler or transporter of waste had actual knowledge that medical waste had been placed in the hauler or transporter's dumpster by another person before the waste was released to the recycling center.".

There is hereby established a legislative summer study committee to evaluate the implementation of the long-term care recommendations from the 2007 Evaluation of Long-Term Care Options for South Dakota, to reassess these recommendations, and to explore additional options for sustaining available long-term care systems to meet the needs of the aging population in South Dakota."
