SCR 4     (SJ 18th LD) Urging the United State Congress to remove Section 132 from the College Opportunity and Affordability Act of 2007 before its final passage.


SECOND READING OF CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS

HB 1001 *    provide for a jury trial in forfeiture proceedings.
HB 1055     revise the penalty for leaving the brand inspection area without a brand inspection.
HB 1057 *     revise certain provisions regarding eligibility for open market status for the purposes of brand inspection.
HB 1072     revise the intent of the appointments of panels for voluntary review of certain first level health care decisions.
HB 1118     authorize the issuance of special off-sale package wine dealers licenses.
HB 1126     revise certain provisions regarding the issuance of on-sale wine licenses and the sale of wine.
HB 1170     allow pneumatic tires with retractable studs to be used upon highways year round.

SB 143 *    (Deferred from 17th LD) revise certain provisions regarding collection and administration of the 911 emergency surcharge and operation of 911 services.



SB 180     (Deferred from 18th LD) make an appropriation to provide certain refunds of sales tax on food.
SB 80 *    restrict the release or use of social security numbers by the state and its political subdivisions unless certain security measures are taken.
SB 126 *    allow municipalities and counties to issue additional on-sale alcoholic beverage licenses and to compensate certain existing on-sale license holders.
SB 164 *    clarify the application of certain statutes relative to contraception and birth control.
SB 172 *    appropriate money to the Department of Public Safety to fund the South Dakota Highway Patrol.

HB 1109 *    repeal the state lottery investigation fund.
HB 1114     revise certain provisions concerning the definition and operation of farm wineries.

SC 6     (SJ 18th LD) Honoring Jordan Arneson for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout.
SC 7     (SJ 18th LD) Honoring Anthony P. Sutton for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout.
SC 8     (SJ 18th LD) Recognizing and congratulating the Scotland Highlander Football Team for winning the 2007 State Class 9A Football Championship.
SC 9     (SJ 18th LD) Honoring John C. Feske for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout.
SC 10     (SJ 18th LD) Honoring an outstanding South Dakota newspapermen, Wayne Bertrand, of Scotland, South Dakota, on his induction into the South Dakota Newspaper Hall of Fame.
