HCR 1004 (HJ 18th LD) Expressing support for the 2013 South Dakota coordinated plan for
natural resources conservation.
HCR 1005 (HJ 18th LD) Recognizing November 2013 as COPD Awareness Month.
HB 1239* (Intent to Reconsider Vote by which Lost) authorize school districts to increase
certain tax levies for pension and health insurance purposes.

SECOND READING OF CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS
HB 1083 reestablish the crime of rustling and to provide a penalty therefor.
SB 48 authorize the Transportation Commission to establish rules governing the allowance,
placement, and maintenance of newspaper vending machines at interstate rest areas.
SB 49 establish the fee charged by registers of deeds for documents filed by the Department
of Transportation disposing of highway right-of-way that is no longer needed for
highway purposes.
SECOND READING OF HOUSE BILLS AND JOINT RESOLUTIONS
HB 1029 exempt persons hunting mountain lions from the requirement to wear fluorescent
orange exterior garments.
HB 1168 increase certain levies relating to predator control districts.

SB 41* revise certain provisions regarding the requirements for school bus inspection and to
authorize the Highway Patrol to approve school bus inspectors.
SB 45 permit certain persons to renew an operator's license, a motorcycle operator's
license, or nondriver identification card without appearing in person at a driver
license exam site.
SB 23* revise certain provisions pertaining to the Certification Board for Alcohol and Drug
Professionals and to increase certain fees.
