THE JOINT APPROPRIATIONS ENGROSSED BILL

An Act to make an appropriation to the Department of Game, Fish and Parks to improve and repair infrastructure around Hiddenwood Lake and to declare an emergency.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of South Dakota:
Section 1. There
is hereby appropriated from the general fund the sum of
$1
$3,500,000 and appropriated from the department of game, fish and
parks fund
the
sum of $1,000,000 in other fund expenditure authority to the
Department of Game, Fish and Parks, for the purpose of providing a
grant for the construction and reconstruction of infrastructure at
Hiddenwood Lake.
Section 2. For the grant provided in section 1 of this Act, the department shall require from the grantee a matching amount of up to $750,000.
Section 3. The design and construction of improvements shall be under the general charge and supervision of the Bureau of Administration as provided in § 5-14-2.
Section 4. The secretary of the Department of Game, Fish and Parks shall approve vouchers and the state auditor shall draw warrants to pay expenditures authorized by this Act.
Section 5. Any amounts appropriated in this Act not lawfully expended or obligated shall revert in accordance with the procedures prescribed in chapter 4-8.
Section 6. Whereas, this Act is necessary for the support of the state government and its existing public institutions, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
