An Act to make an appropriation to provide funding for major infrastructure projects to support South Dakota airports.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of South Dakota:

Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the general fund the sum of $20,000,000 to the Department of Transportation, for the purpose of providing grants to supplement local and federal funding for South Dakota regional airport infrastructure projects:

(1) Safety-related projects;

(2) Equipment for mowing or snow removal; and

(3) Pavement rehabilitation and construction for runways, taxiways, and arrival and departure terminals.

Section 2. The secretary of the Department of Transportation shall approve vouchers and the state auditor shall draw warrants to pay expenditures authorized by this Act.
