An Act to prohibit the private funding of National Guard and State Guard active-duty missions.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of South Dakota:

Section 1. That chapter 33-912 be amended with a NEW SECTION:

Notwithstanding the provisions of section § 33-12-30, it is prohibited for any active-duty mission of the South Dakota National Guard or South Dakota State Guard to be partially or entirely funded by private donations exclusive of state treasurer administration, except in emergency or disaster relief.
