SCR 6     (SJ 16th LD) Recognizing the Boys and Girls Clubs of the South Dakota Alliance and commending the individuals, communities, and tribes that financially support the clubs.

* Amended

SB 114 *     allow persons who were eligible to receive coverage under the risk pool but chose conversion coverage to obtain coverage under the risk pool under certain circumstances.
     Allow for risk pool eligibility and rate flexibility for certain health insurance conversion plans.
SB 177     revise certain provisions regarding the disposal of abandoned tenant's property left on leased residential premises.
SB 202     prohibit certain military sales practices for life insurance and annuities.
HB 1002     revise the style and form of certain provisions and to delete certain obsolete provisions regarding labor and employment and the Department of Labor.
HB 1004     revise the style and form of certain provisions and to delete certain obsolete provisions regarding workers' compensation.
HB 1013     remove certain waiting periods for property casualty filings.




HB 1014 *    stagger the licensing of snowmobiles and boats.
HB 1038 *     revise certain provisions regarding accident reports and insurance premium increases involving the operators of emergency snow removal equipment.
HB 1042 *     revise certain provisions pertaining to the definition of residency and the issuance of resident hunting, fishing, and trapping licenses.

SB 183     (Deferred from 15th LD) permit the creation of a transportation district and to establish its powers and bonding authority.
SB 190 *    (Deferred from 15th LD) impose a fee on certain pipelines carrying crude oil and to create a crude oil pipeline compensation fund that may be used in the event of a crude oil spill.
SB 40 *    establish certain requirements regarding the separation and protection of a gas and electric public utility's assets.
SB 109     authorize the Fourth Circuit drug court program in the Unified Judicial System and to make an appropriation therefor.
SB 143 *    revise certain provisions regarding collection and administration of the 911 emergency surcharge and operation of 911 services.
SB 161 *    create the South Dakota Boxing Commission and to provide for the supervision of boxing and kickboxing competitions and sparring exhibitions in the state.

HB 1003     revise the style and form of certain provisions and to delete certain obsolete provisions regarding unemployment compensation.
HB 1026 *     revise certain provisions and procedures concerning elections.
HB 1182 *    revise certain provisions related to property tax assessments for elderly and disabled persons.

SC 4     (SJ 16th LD) Commending the 2007 Yankton High School Bucks Boys' Cross Country Team for winning the state title in the Class AA State Cross Country Meet for the third year in a row.
SC 5     (SJ 16th LD) Commending the 2007 Yankton High School Gazelles Girls' Cross Country Team for winning the state title in the Class AA State Cross Country Meet for the fifth year in a row.
