An Act to
require the posting
of laws regarding hospital and
,
nursing
facility,
and assisted living center
visitation.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of South Dakota:
Section 1. That chapter 34-12 be amended with a NEW SECTION:
The
Department of Health shall post on its website all state laws and
rules, and all federal laws, regulations, and guidance documents,
which address the visitation of patients in hospitals or
and
residents in nursing facilities and assisted living centers.
