An Act to revise provisions related to the confidential list of medical cannabis cardholders maintained by the Department of Health.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of South Dakota:

Section 1. That § 34-20G-44 be AMENDED:

34-20G-44. The department shall maintain a confidential list of any person to whom the department has issued a registry identification card and the addresses, phone number, and registry identification number of each person. :

(a) The name, address, phone number, and registry identification card number of each person to whom the department has issued a registry identification card; and

(b) The name, address, and phone number of the practice of a registered qualifying patient's practitioner; and

(c)(b) The name, address, and phone number of a registered qualifying patient's parent or legal guardian if the patient is under age eighteen.

The list may not be combined or linked in any manner with any other list or database, nor may it be used for any purpose not provided for in this chapter.
