HCR 1014    (HJ p. 566) Urging the United States Department of Veterans Affairs to reconsider its proposed closure of certain VA facilities in Hot Springs.
HCR 1015    (HJ p. 568) Urging the federal government to secure our national borders and enforce United States immigration laws.
HCR 1018    (HJ p. 571) Urging Congress to restore the impact aid program.

CONSIDERATION OF REPORTS OF CONFERENCE COMMITTEES

SB 99    (SJ 28th LD) provide for a temporary suspension of certain licenses relating to alcoholic beverages under emergency conditions.
    Allow certain licensees or employees of a licensed establishment who have been charged with certain felony offenses to be prohibited from entering the licensed premises.

HB 1096*    specify the venue for certain appeals involving home-rule municipalities.
HB 1189*    establish a deadline within each semester after which no student may transfer to a school district other than the resident school district through the enrollment options program.




SECOND READING OF HOUSE BILLS AND JOINT RESOLUTIONS

HB 1247    (Deferred from 28th LD) revise certain provisions regarding the voting rights of persons convicted of a felony or serving time in the state penitentiary.
HB 1126*    (Deferred from 28th LD) establish provisions that a bond paid by, or on behalf of, a defendant in a criminal case shall be paid to the Department of Social Services to pay any child support the defendant owes.
    Establish provisions that certain bonds paid by, or on behalf of, certain persons with child support arrearages shall be paid to the Department of Social Services to pay any child support the defendant owes.
HB 1273*    (Deferred from 28th LD) prohibit the sale of loose leaf incense to minors, to prohibit certain marketing techniques, to regulate the sale of certain types of incense, to provide penalties therefor, and to declare an emergency.
HB 1198*    (Deferred from 28th LD) revise the definition of firearm to include certain antique, muzzle-loading, and black powder weapons in certain circumstances.
HB 1253*    (Deferred from 28th LD) prohibit the judicial enforcement of any religious codes.
HJR 1007    (Deferred from 28th LD) Proposing and submitting to the electors at the next general election an amendment to Article XII of the Constitution of the State of South Dakota, relating to a balanced budget.
HB 1133*    (Deferred from 28th LD) establish the Legislature's Planning Committee.
HB 1248    (Deferred from 28th LD) provide for exceptions from certain misdemeanor offenses relating to possession of handguns.
HB 1185*    (Deferred from 28th LD) prohibit all qualified health plans offered through a health care exchange from including abortion coverage.
HB 1186*    prohibit registered sex offenders from circulating petitions and to provide a penalty for the violation thereof.
HB 1266*    reduce the period of time necessary to cure and validate certain adoption proceedings.
HB 1058*    revise certain record search fees charged by clerks of court.
    Make an appropriation to the Unified Judicial System court automation fund and to declare an emergency.
HB 1136*    revise the state aid to education formula and to make an appropriation.

HB 1093    revise certain property tax levies for the general fund of school districts.
HB 1220    conditionally repeal certain provisions establishing network adequacy standards, quality assessment and improvement requirements, utilization review and benefit determination requirements, and grievance procedures for managed health care plans, and certain standards for managed health care plans if the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act is found to be unconstitutional.
