    "    Section 1. That § 45-6B-14 be amended to read as follows:

    45-6B-14. The application fee of one thousand dollars shall accompany the application. However, the application fee shall be fifty thousand dollars for a new large scale precious metal, coal, or uranium mine permit. The application fee for an amendment to an existing large scale precious metal, coal, or uranium mine permit shall be five thousand dollars. "
