On page 16, between lines 5 and 6, insert:

"      Section 31. That § 36-12-21.3 be amended to read as follows:

     36-12-21.3.   An application for registry of a veterinary technician shall be filed with the board by the licensed veterinarian under whom the technician will practice. The application for registry shall set out the qualifications of the technician required by the rules of the board and the application shall be on forms provided by the board. The fee for registration of a veterinary technician is ten shall be set by the board by rules promulgated pursuant to chapter 1-26 and may not exceed fifty dollars and the . The fee shall accompany the application. ".

     36-20B-67.   An Any individual whose principal place of business is not in this state having a valid certificate or license as a certified public accountant from any state which the board or its designee has not verified to be in substantial equivalence with the licensure requirements of this chapter shall be presumed to have qualifications substantially equivalent to this state's requirements and shall have all the privileges of certificate holders and licensees of this state without the need to obtain a certificate or permit under this chapter. However, such individuals shall notify the board of their intent to enter the state under this provision completing procedures and paying fees , not to exceed one hundred fifteen dollars, specified by the board and promulgated by rule pursuant to chapter 1-26. ".
