Section 4. The provisions of section 1 of this Act are effective on the date identified in a
certification by the secretary of labor filed with the secretary of state and the Legislative Research
Council as the effective date of the increase in the federal minimum wage under the federal Fair
Labor Standards Act of 1938 or July 1, 2007, whichever is later.
Section 5. The provisions of section 2 of this Act are effective twelve months after the effective
date of section 1 of this Act.
Section 6. The provisions of section 3 of this Act are effective twenty-four months after the
effective date of section 1 of this Act.".
