SB 11* (Concur in House Amendment, HJ p.192) revise certain provisions related to the
licensing of commercial drivers.
SCR 4 (SJ 21st LD) Requesting all qualifying school districts in South Dakota to use the
South Dakota Department of Education developed, and South Dakota Board of
Education approved, Model Wellness Policy as a guideline.
SB 190* (Intent to reconsider vote by which lost) provide for the establishment of special
development districts and to authorize the issuance of certain restricted alcoholic
beverage licenses in such districts.
SB 209* (Intent to reconsider vote by which lost) create the South Dakota Boxing
Commission and to provide for the supervision of boxing, kickboxing, mixed martial
arts, wrestling, and sparring exhibitions in the state.

SECOND READING OF CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS
* Amended
SB 79* revise the boundaries of the Black Hills Forest Fire Protection District, to authorize
the continuation of activities by certain business affected by the boundary change,
and to prohibit the discharge of fireworks within a zone adjacent to the district.
SB 215 eliminate certain filings with the Department of Social Services in adoption cases in
which the children are not in the custody of the department.
HB 1033* impose sanctions on schools and certified school personnel for compromising the
integrity of a state-required academic achievement test.
HB 1034* revise certain provisions regarding the data submission requirements for the state
accreditation of schools.
HB 1121 provide for the purchase, sale, or transfer of certain solid waste or recyclable
materials by local government entities and to revise certain provisions related to the
operation of solid waste and recycling facilities.
HB 1143 repeal the limitation on liability of local government agencies and their employees
for year 2000 litigation.

HB 1023 (Removed from Consent Calendar) revise certain provisions concerning the
definition of big game and the possession, transportation, and sale of big game meat
and animal parts.
HB 1027 authorize the issuance of temporary snowmobile permits to residents and to increase
the fee for such permits.
HB 1039 increase certain fees relating to the Board of Barber Examiners.
HB 1105 revise certain provisions related to immunity from civil liability for the placement
and use of automated external defibrillators.
HB 1118 permit counties to sell tax certificates.
HB 1130 increase the level of expenditures that may be incurred before requiring the
advertisement for bids for the purchase of materials, supplies, or equipment.

SC 5 (SJ 21st LD) Commending the 2006 Yankton High School Bucks Boys' Cross
Country Team for winning the state title in the Class AA State Cross Country Meet
for the second consecutive year.
SC 6 (SJ 21st LD) Commending the 2006 Yankton High School Boys' Golf Team for
winning the state title in the Class AA State Golf Championship.
SC 7 (SJ 21st LD) Commending the 2006 Yankton High School Gazelles Girls' Cross
Country Team for winning the state title in the Class AA State Cross Country Meet.
