         SB 174     provide increased state aid to education to those school districts that achieve or strive to achieve a certain attendance level and graduation rate.
             Senators Garnos, Abdallah, and Bartling and Representatives Nelson, Elliott, Jerke, Juhnke, Kirkeby, and Van Norman

         HB 1035*     revise the required grade levels for assessment of writing skills.
             The Committee on Education at the request of the Department of Education

         HB 1037*     repeal certain health certification requirements of school employees.
             The Committee on Education at the request of the Department of Education

         HB 1038     revise certain provisions regarding the interstate enrollment options program.
             The Committee on Education at the request of the Department of Education

NOTE: The above bills will be taken up in this order for a hearing on the date noted. If circumstances do not permit a hearing on this date then a hearing will be held at a future meeting of the committee to be determined by the chair. Action on a bill may come at any time after it has had a hearing.
