SECOND READING OF CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS

         SB 98    revise or clarify certain provisions relating to the classification and creation of trusts.
         SB 99    adopt the Uniform Principal and Income Act.
         HB 1111*    permit local government officials and employees to use electronic payments and to permit the state and its political subdivisions to accept electronic payments.

         SECOND READING OF SENATE BILLS AND JOINT RESOLUTIONS

         SB 159    (Deferred from 19th LD) allow a taxpayer who is the subject of an audit to provide evidence after the prescribed deadline under limited circumstances.
         SB 31    (Deferred from 19th LD) make an appropriation to assist sparse school districts.
         SB 43*    (Deferred from 19th LD) provide for the registration of tobacco retailers.



         SB 25*    revise certain requirements regarding the ability of the Public Utilities Commission to regulate the sale or other disposition of the property, plant, business, or stock of electric or gas public utilities.
         SB 125*    allow an abandoned mobile home or manufactured home to be moved under certain conditions and to require property taxes to be abated on certain abandoned mobile homes and manufactured homes.
         SB 183*    revise the definition of agricultural purposes used for the administration of the sales and use tax.
         SB 193*    prohibit the abuse of certain elderly persons and to revise certain provisions regarding the abuse of disabled adults.
         SJR 7    To propose a constitutional amendment regarding legislative term limits.
         SJR 8    To propose a constitutional amendment to reduce the minimum age to be a legislator.
         SJR 9    To propose a constitutional amendment to provide for forty-day legislative sessions.
