         SB 95     establish a State Board of Technical Institutes, to provide for its powers, duties, and responsibilities, and to provide for the transfer of authority over public postsecondary technical education from the Department of Education to the State Board of Technical Institutes.
             Senators Knudson, Abdallah, Dempster, Gray, Hanson (Gary), Heidepriem, Jerstad, Katus, Koetzle, Lintz, McCracken, Napoli, Nesselhuf, and Peterson (Jim) and Representatives Haverly, Burg, Cutler, Dennert, Dykstra, Gillespie, Hargens, Hunt, Juhnke, Kirkeby, Krebs, Lucas, McLaughlin, Miles, Peters, Thompson, Turbiville, Weems, and Willadsen

         SB 101     provide that a governance policy be determined at the annual meeting of a school board.

         SB 112     authorize funding for certain tribal colleges to defray certain costs associated with educating nonbeneficiary students at tribal colleges and to make an appropriation therefor.

         SB 115     revise certain provisions regarding the rule-making authority of the Board of Education.

         HB 1001     repeal references to certain defunct programs under the authority of the Board of Regents.

         HB 1002     revise the style and form of certain provisions relating to the Board of Regents.
             Representatives Rave, Bradford, Buckingham, Hanks, Heineman, Hills, Rhoden, Thompson, and Weems and Senators Knudson, Garnos, Hundstad, and Kloucek at the request of the Interim Committee on Board of Regents Agency Review

If circumstances do not permit a hearing on this date then a hearing will be held at a future meeting of the committee to be determined by the chair. Action on a bill may come at any time after it has had a hearing.
