         HB 1001     repeal references to certain defunct programs under the authority of the Board of Regents.

         HB 1002     revise the style and form of certain provisions relating to the Board of Regents.

         ANY OF THE ABOVE BILLS NOT RECEIVING FINAL ACTION BY THE COMMITTEE ON
         THURSDAY, JANUARY 18, 2007, WILL BE HEARD ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 19, 2007.

         Sam Gingerich from the Division of Academic Affairs, Board of Regents will present an update on
         the system wide review of teacher education programs.

NOTE: The above bills will be taken up in this order for a hearing on the date noted. If circumstances do not permit a hearing on this date then a hearing will be held at a future meeting of the committee to be determined by the chair. Action on a bill may come at any time after it has had a hearing.

         HB 1033     impose sanctions on schools and teachers for compromising the integrity of a state-required academic achievement test.

         HB 1034     revise certain provisions regarding the data submission requirements for the state accreditation of schools.

         HB 1037     revise certain health certification requirements of school employees.
