         SB 168*    (Deferred, Concur in House Amendments, HJ p669)appropriate money for enhancement of secondary career and technical education.

         CONSIDERATION OF REPORTS OF CONFERENCE COMMITTEES

         HJR 1001    (Do Not Concur, Do Not Appoint)To revise and establish certain constitutional provisions regarding the lieutenant governor and the presiding officers of the Senate and House of Representatives.
         SB 184    (Do Not Concur, Do Not Appoint) provide for the notification of certain members of the armed forces concerning screening for exposure to depleted uranium.
              Require a report to the Legislature regarding certain veterans' health issues.
         SB 143    (SJ 33rd LD) create South Dakota Achievement Days, and to make an appropriation therefor.
              Make an appropriation to the state fair.
         HB 1236    (SJ 33rd LD) create the South Dakota Virtual High School.

         CONFERENCE COMMITTEES APPOINTED THAT HAVE NOT REPORTED

         SB 153     revise certain provisions concerning the South Dakota Railroad Authority and the railroad trust fund and declare an emergency.
              Transfer certain moneys from the railroad trust fund to the property tax reduction fund and to declare an emergency.

         SB 198     repeal certain provisions regarding the reduction in state aid to education based on school district general fund balances, to appropriate funds to increase funding to education and assist sparse school districts, and to increase the distribution from the education enhancement trust fund.
              Appropriate money for nonrecurring education enrichment.

         HB 1128     increase the rate of taxation that municipalities may impose on certain goods and services.
              Revise certain provisions concerning the valuation of agricultural land for ad valorem taxation.

         HB 1060    revise the property tax levies for the general fund of a school district.

         HB 1175     increase the school term and to compensate school districts for the increase.
              Appropriate money for nonrecurring education enrichment.
              Repeal certain provisions regarding the reduction in state aid to education based on school district general fund balances, to appropriate funds to increase funding to education and assist sparse school districts, and to increase the distribution from the education enhancement trust fund.

         HB 1238    authorize the Board of Regents to purchase certain real property for the sole purpose of providing a site for the operation of instructional, research and service programs delivered through institutions established by the Legislature and governed by the Board of Regents, to make an appropriation therefor, and to declare an emergency.

         HB 1244    transfer funds from the property tax reduction fund, to make an appropriation to construct instructional classrooms, and to declare an emergency.

         HB 1167    create a tax relief fund and to dedicate certain sales and use tax revenue received by the state through the Streamlined Sales and Use Tax Agreement and to provide compensation to certain retailers for collecting and remitting the sales tax.
