         HB 1013*     make an appropriation to the Board of Regents for the construction, remodeling, or renovation of various structures or facilities on the campuses of the state's universities to provide additional support for women's athletic programs in furtherance of the policies and objectives of Title IX of the Education Act Amendments of 1972.

         HB 1020     reappropriate certain moneys to state aid to general education.
             The Committee on Education at the request of the Bureau of Finance and Management

         HB 1090*     appropriate money for compensatory payments to certain school districts.
             Representatives Klaudt, Davis, Dennert, Glenski, Haverly, Hennies, Hills, Hunhoff, Jerke, Lange, McLaughlin, Peters, Putnam, Rausch, Street, Tidemann, Turbiville, and Willadsen and Senators Bogue, Apa, Bartling, Duniphan, Earley, Gant, Greenfield, Hanson (Gary), Koetzle, McNenny, Napoli, Smidt, and Sutton (Duane)

         HB 1237*     make an appropriation to fund tax refunds for elderly and disabled persons and to revise the income eligibility requirements for property tax and sales tax refunds.

         HB 1240*     transfer funds from the railroad trust fund, to make an appropriation for low income energy assistance, and to declare an emergency.
             The Committee on Appropriations at the request of the Governor

         HB 1241*     reappropriate certain moneys to fund sales tax on food refunds.
             The Committee on Appropriations at the request of the Governor

         HB 1242*     transfer funds from the railroad trust fund to the property tax reduction fund.
             The Committee on Appropriations at the request of the Governor

NOTE: The above bills will be taken up in this order for a hearing on the date noted. If circumstances do not permit a hearing on this date then a hearing will be held at a future meeting of the committee to be determined by the chair. Action on a bill may come at any time after it has had a hearing.

BILLS FOR POSSIBLE ACTION WHICH HAVE HAD PRIOR HEARING.

         HB 1019     revise and redirect certain revenues relating to the state capital construction fund, the ethanol fuel fund, the state highway fund, the water and environment fund, and the state general fund.

         HB 1143     authorize the Board of Regents to renovate Wecota Hall at South Dakota State University, and to make an appropriation therefor.
