         HB 1221     enhance math, science, and technology education.
             Representatives Heineman, Cutler, McLaughlin, and Wick and Senator Smidt

         HB 1223     create an innovative grant program to enhance student completion of the advanced and distinguished high school programs.
             Representatives Heineman and McLaughlin

         HB 1235     increase the compulsory attendance age for school attendance.
             The Committee on Education at the request of the Governor

NOTE: The above bills will be taken up in this order for a hearing on the date noted. If circumstances do not permit a hearing on this date then a hearing will be held at a future meeting of the committee to be determined by the chair. Action on a bill may come at any time after it has had a hearing.

         HB 1166     revise the index factor in the state aid to education formula.

         HB 1175     increase the school term and to compensate school districts for the increase.
