         SB 196     require balanced instruction on human sexuality in public schools.
             Senators Adelstein, Knudson, Kooistra, McCracken, and Olson (Ed) and Representatives Roberts, Cutler, Glover, Halverson, McLaughlin, Sigdestad, and Thompson

         HB 1023     repeal certain provisions regarding standards for school district radio equipment.
             The Committee on Education at the request of the Department of Education

         HB 1024     repeal certain provisions providing for the appointment of the director of vocational education.
             The Committee on Education at the request of the Department of Education

         HB 1067     classify certain persons as residents for purposes of higher education tuition.
             Representatives Buckingham, Haverly, Heineman, and Van Etten and Senator Duniphan

NOTE: The above bills will be taken up in this order for a hearing on the date noted. If circumstances do not permit a hearing on this date then a hearing will be held at a future meeting of the committee to be determined by the chair. Action on a bill may come at any time after it has had a hearing.

         SB 170     establish and appropriate money to the 21st Century Education Fund, to increase funding for education, and to revise the index factor in the state aid to education formula.
