     Section 1. No insurer of motor vehicles may:

             (1)    Require the use of a data gathering device in an insured motor vehicle;

             (2)    Increase the premium of the insured based on any information collected from a data gathering device. However, an insurer may disallow any discount associated with having such a device based on information collected from the device;

             (3)    Cancel coverage based on information collected from a data gathering device, except in cases of fraudulent behavior; or

             (4)    Use information collected from a data gathering device for anything other than claims purposes unless the insured consents or the information is subpoenaed by a court."
