     On page 4, line 20 of the printed bill, delete everything after " 2007, " and insert "shall complete five hundred hours of didactic X ray training or provide documentation of five hundred hours of didactic X-ray training and shall prove competency under the direction of a radiologic technologist in the examinations as specified by the board in rules promulgated pursuant to chapter 1-26. Upon completion of the didactic training and competency validation the applicant is eligible to take the limited X ray machine operator examination as developed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. The didactic training, competency, and examination shall be completed within a twelve-month period.".

     On page 4 , delete lines 21 to 24 , inclusive.

     On page 5 , delete line 1 .

     On page 5 , line 8, after "Act" insert "but may renew the license of a limited X ray machine operator pursuant to section 17 of this Act. However, the board may waive the requirement for a radiologic technologist license for any limited X ray machine operator after June 30, 2010, in cases of undue hardship".

     On page 5 , line 13, after " 36-5 " insert "or person practicing chiropractic radiography under the supervision of a chiropractor".

     On page 5 , line 16, after " Dentist, " insert "dental hygienist, or dental assistant".
