     On page 4, after line 6 of the printed bill, insert:

"      Section 8. There is hereby appropriated from the state general fund the sum of four hundred fifty thousand dollars ($ 450,000 ), or so much thereof as may be necessary, to the secretary of state to reimburse counties as full and complete state payment for the cost of the 2008 presidential primary. Any claim made against the money appropriated by this section shall be submitted to the secretary of state by June 1, 2008, and shall be paid by the secretary of state by June 30, 2008.


     Section 9. The secretary of state shall approve vouchers and the state auditor shall draw warrants to pay expenditures authorized by this Act.

     Section 10. Any amounts appropriated in this Act not lawfully expended or obligated by June   30, 2008, shall revert in accordance with §   4-8-21.".
