         SCR 1    (SJ p. 57; Deferred from 8th LD) Urging the Congress of the United States to support the changes to the No Child Left Behind Act that were recommended by the special task force established by the National Conference of State Legislatures.

         HB 1030*    permit persons in the armed services and certain family members to acquire a turkey license under certain circumstances.
         HB 1034    revise the definition of anabolic steroid, to schedule certain controlled substances, and to declare an emergency.
         HB 1041    allow for denial, suspension, or revocation of emergency medical technician certificates for past gross incompetence and for unprofessional or dishonorable conduct.

         HB 1006    ( Deferred from 6th LD) revise certain provisions related to out-of-state cattle brands and to establish a penalty.




         HB 1017    (Deferred from 8th LD) authorize the Public Utilities Commission to implement and comply with certain federal energy acts and to validate certain related commission actions.
         HB 1065*    (Deferred from 8th LD) extend immunity to certain directors, trustees, committee members and officers of certain nonprofit corporations and to members of certain advisory boards.
         HB 1049*    (Deferred from 8th LD) revise the effective dates of certain laws regarding the regulation of motor vehicle license plates.
         HB 1058    (Deferred from 8th LD) revise certain provisions regarding investigations of the Division of Insurance.
         HB 1032    (Deferred from 8th LD) clarify that hunting, fishing, and trapping privileges associated with a resident license continue after change of residency.
         HB 1027*    change the unemployment insurance wage base and contribution rates and to assess interest on negative employer accounts under certain circumstances.
         HB 1009*    create additional classifications of agricultural property and to revise certain provisions concerning the taxation of certain agricultural property.
         HB 1061*    provide for certain audits of associations of school boards.
         HB 1074    provide for recognition of certain stalking or physical violence protection orders as foreign domestic violence orders.
         HB 1075    revise certain provisions relating to the disposition of confiscated weapons and firearms.
         HB 1011    increase the funds that may be expended to construct a student wellness center at South Dakota State University.
         HB 1014    authorize the Board of Regents to remodel certain locker room facilities and to renovate spectator, concession, press, and coaching facilities at the O'Harra Stadium at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and to make an appropriation therefor.
         HB 1022    revise the disposition of funds received for charges for board and room for work release inmates.
