Representative Buckingham reported on the Distance Education Learning Sub-Committee. (Handouts #1 & 2) Intern, Samantha Stormo, followed up with some more information. Representatives Burt Elliott, Ryan Olson, and Mike Buckingham were the committee members.
Rick Melmer, Department of Education, had some comments also.


Former Representative and Education Committee member, Tim Begalka, his wife and son were introduced and welcomed by the committee.

         HCR 1017: Requesting the creation of an interim committee to study interscholastic activities.
