         SB 36: authorize the Board of Regents to accept a gift of property from the South Dakota State University Foundation.

     On page 1, line 6 of the Senate Appropriations Committee engrossed bill, after " structure " insert "with a garage".

     On page 1 , line 8, delete " fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) " and insert "sixty thousand dollars ($160,000)".

     On page 2, after line 5 of the Senate Appropriations Committee engrossed bill, insert:

"
     Section 7. The Board of Regents shall comply with Bureau of Administration procedures for bid letting and acceptance in chapter 5-18. However, if bids submitted from private parties exceed the amount appropriated in this Act, the board may consider purchase of a structure under the South Dakota Housing Development Authority's program for prison inmate-constructed housing.".
