    I have the honor to inform your honorable body that the Senate has concurred in House amendments to SB 171 and 179.

Also MR. SPEAKER:

    I have the honor to transmit herewith SB 222 which has passed the Senate and your favorable consideration is respectfully requested.

Also MR. SPEAKER:

    I have the honor to inform your honorable body that the Senate has failed to concur in House amendments to SB 96 and has appointed Sens. Duniphan, Duenwald, and Dan Sutton as a committee of three on the part of the Senate to meet with a like committee on the part of the House to adjust the differences between the two houses.

     The Speaker appointed Reps. Schafer, Hennies, and Halverson as a committee of three on the part of the House to meet with a like committee on the part of the Senate to adjust the differences between the two houses on SB 96.

    The Committee on Legislative Procedure respectfully reports that the Office of Engrossing and Enrolling has carefully compared HB 1098, 1188, 1197, and 1228 and finds the same correctly enrolled.

SIGNING OF BILLS


     The Speaker publicly read the title to

     HB 1098: FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to  clarify certain provisions related to the terms of conservation easements.

     HB 1188: FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to  revise certain provisions regarding amounts payable under reinsurance contracts in liquidation proceedings of insurers.

     HB 1197: FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to  continue certain restrictions on the use of artificial lights to hunt or locate wild animals.

     HB 1228: FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to  revise certain provisions regarding unemployment insurance.

     And signed the same in the presence of the House.

COMMEMORATIONS


     HC 1026   Introduced by:  Representatives Olson (Ryan) and Rounds and Senator Gray

         A LEGISLATIVE COMMEMORATION,  Honoring the Pierre Junior Shooters' BB Gun Team participation in the 39th Annual International BB Gun Championship match in Bowling Green, Kentucky, on July 3-4, 2004.

     WHEREAS,  the Pierre Junior Shooters' BB Gun Team competed against thirty-seven other teams and captured the International Championship with a score of 2354.58 out of a possible score of 2500.00; and

     WHEREAS,  the team was led to victory under the outstanding guidance and dedication of coaches Bob Kallemeyn, Randy Dyce, and Don Bergeson;

     WHEREAS,  the team members, Austin Bergeson, Stephanie Darland, Caitlin Forman, Joshua Hartmann, and Jordan Hull, and team alternates Colin Burrer and Zachary Hull, exhibited consistency, determination, knowledge, and sportsmanship throughout the competition:

     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT COMMEMORATED,  by the Eightieth Legislature of the State of South Dakota, that the Pierre Junior Shooters' BB Gun Team be honored and recognized for their excellent marksmanship and score in winning the 39th Annual International BB Gun Championship.

     Rep. Pederson moved that the House do now adjourn, which motion prevailed and at 3:25 p.m. the House adjourned.
