         SB 12*    (Concur in House Amendments, HJ 538) authorize a parent to appear telephonically for a hearing to voluntarily terminate parental rights.
         SB 150*    (Concur in House Amendments, HJ 481) permit certain services to be provided by municipal officials.

         SECOND READING OF CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS

         HB 1153    revise certain sales tax provisions related to products and substances associated with the application of pesticides.
         HB 1193    adopt the Uniform Child-Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act and to repeal the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction Act.
         HB 1258    revise the definition of an abused or neglected child.

         HB 1101*    (Deferred from 29th LD) except contracts of independent contractors who are captive insurance agents from the prohibition against contracts in restraint of trade.
         HB 1160*    revise certain provisions relating to franchises and cable services.
         HB 1210*    exempt certain contract services from sales and use taxes.
         HB 1259*    reestablish eligibility for certain veterans to qualify for the veterans' bonus program and to declare an emergency.

         LEGISLATIVE COMMEMORATIONS

         HC 1022    (HJ 556) Honoring the members of the 2004 Pierre Governors' varsity boys' soccer team and the coaches, administration, and parents involved in the program.
