         HJR 1003     Proposing and submitting to the electors at the next general election an amendment to Article V, § 7 of the Constitution of the State of South Dakota, relating to the appointment and retention of Supreme Court justices and circuit court judges.
             Representatives Hanks, Brunner, Haverly, Hills, Koistinen, and McCoy and Senators Napoli, Apa, Earley, Gant, Greenfield, Hanson (Gary), Koskan, Moore, Schoenbeck, and Sutton (Dan)

         SB 17*     revise certain provisions concerning the authority of the Public Utilities Commission with regard to wind energy facilities.
             The Committee on State Affairs at the request of the Public Utilities Commission

         SB 45*     authorize the Bureau of Administration to donate the former Governor's residence for a public purpose and to declare an emergency.
             The Committee on State Affairs at the request of the Bureau of Administration

         SB 61*     authorize the South Dakota Science and Technology Authority to use eminent domain for certain limited purposes.
             The Committee on State Affairs at the request of the Department of Tourism and State Development

         HB 1254     create the investment in South Dakota's future program and to make an appropriation therefor.
             Representatives Garnos, Bradford, Elliott, and Hennies and Senator Bartling

NOTE: The above bills will be taken up in this order for a hearing on the date noted. If circumstances do not permit a hearing on this date then a hearing will be held at a future meeting of the committee to be determined by the chair. Action on a bill may come at any time after it has had a hearing.
