         HB 1226     establish certain provisions regarding the custody and placement of Indian children.
             Representatives Bradford, Hargens, Valandra, and Van Norman and Senators Moore, Adelstein, Kooistra, and Olson (Ed)

         SB 97     establish a maximum value for certain protected homesteads.
             Senator Schoenbeck and Representative Peters

         SB 143     adopt the Uniform Environmental Covenants Act.
             Senator Knudson and Representative O'Brien

         SB 146     to limit the time for bringing actions against certain professional corporations and professional practitioners.
             Senator Knudson and Representative Michels

         SB 178     provide for the creation of county interdisciplinary child information teams and to regulate their memberships, authority, and responsibilities.
             Senators Schoenbeck and Gray and Representatives Murschel, Cutler, Faehn, and Koistinen

NOTE: The above bills will be taken up in this order for a hearing on the date noted. If circumstances do not permit a hearing on this date then a hearing will be held at a future meeting of the committee to be determined by the chair.
