ANY BILL NOT BEING HEARD ON THURSDAY WILL BE HEARD TODAY

         HB 1125     reimburse and reward public school counselors who obtain national certification.
             Representative Garnos and Senator Kooistra

         HB 1231     increase the length of time for which nationally certified teachers receive stipends.
             Representatives Thompson, Garnos, Gassman, Glover, Hargens, Hennies, McCoy, McLaughlin, Murschel, Roberts, and Van Norman and Senators Kelly, Adelstein, Bartling, Dempster, Hansen (Tom), Hanson (Gary), Knudson, and Nesselhuf

         HB 1241     create the Student Achievement Enhancement Grant Program and to make an appropriation therefor.

NOTE: The above bills will be taken up in this order for a hearing on the date noted. If circumstances do not permit a hearing on this date then a hearing will be held at a future meeting of the committee to be determined by the chair.
