         HB 1227     revise certain provisions concerning the hiring by school districts of persons convicted of felony drug distribution.
             Representatives Bradford, Sigdestad, Valandra, and Van Norman and Senators Hanson (Gary) and Nesselhuf

         HB 1207     increase the school term and to compensate school districts for the increase.
             Representatives McLaughlin, Dennert, Elliott, Fryslie, Garnos, Hennies, Hills, Nelson, Roberts, Schafer, Thompson, and Van Etten and Senators Adelstein, Abdallah, Duniphan, Knudson, Kooistra, Nesselhuf, and Olson (Ed)

         HB 1112     create the pre-kindergarten initiative pilot program and to provide for its funding.
             Representatives Dennert, Elliott, Garnos, Gillespie, Haley, Hargens, Kroger, Miles, Roberts, and Thompson and Senators Bartling, Hanson (Gary), Moore, and Nesselhuf

         HB 1216     specify the method of distribution of certain state aid to general education funds.
             Representatives Hargens, Bradford, Dennert, Elliott, Gassman, Gillespie, Glover, Haley, Halverson, Hennies, Jerke, Kroger, Lange, Miles, Nelson, Sigdestad, Street, Thompson, and Van Norman and Senators Bartling, Hanson (Gary), Hundstad, Koetzle, Moore, Olson (Ed), Peterson (Jim), and Sutton (Dan)

NOTE: The above bills will be taken up in this order for a hearing on the date noted. If circumstances do not permit a hearing on this date then a hearing will be held at a future meeting of the committee to be determined by the chair. Action on a bill may come at any time after it has had a hearing.
