         SB 74*    revise certain restrictions concerning the operation of snowmobiles.
         SB 112    repeal certain requirements related to works of art in state buildings.
         HB 1037    revise the definition of a bad debt and modify the circumstances under which a bad debt may be deducted for taxation purposes.




         HB 1040    repeal certain sales and use tax exemptions that conflict with certain statutory exemptions.
         HB 1044*    revise certain provisions regarding the refund procedures for a purchaser who seeks a return of over-collected sales or use taxes from a seller.
         HB 1071    expand the time within which a judge may extend clemency or reduce a sentence.
         HB 1072    permit magistrate judges to order a transcript of a grand jury proceeding.

         SB 2*    (Deferred from 13th LD) revise the procedure for assessing agricultural property and to repeal certain factors used to determine which sales may be used in assessing property.

         SB 3*    (Deferred from 13th LD) permit written statements to be filed concerning the leasing of agricultural land and to provide for the confidentiality and usage of such information.
         SB 17*    revise certain provisions concerning the authority of the Public Utilities Commission with regard to wind energy facilities.
         SB 36    authorize the Board of Regents to accept a gift of property from the South Dakota State University Foundation.
         SB 38    (Deferred from 12th LD) continue the moratorium on new nursing facility beds.
         SB 46    (Deferred from 9th LD) modify the requirements for closed block individual health benefit plans.
         SB 72*    include legal costs as allowable expenditures from the special education fund.
         SB 75    (Deferred from 12th LD) designate official state railroad museums and to provide for additional museum sites.
         SB 78    revise certain provisions relating to the taxes electric cooperatives pay to certain municipalities.
         SB 86*    (Deferred from 13th LD) revise the compensation for deputy coroners.
         SB 96*    (Deferred from 13th LD) allow municipalities to offer full food services at certain licensed municipal facilities and to declare an emergency.
         SB 97    establish a maximum value for certain protected homesteads.
         SB 98    provide for specific penalties for certain fifth and subsequent offense driving under the influence convictions.

         HB 1008    (Deferred from 13th LD) revise certain provisions concerning absentee ballots.
         HB 1019    (Deferred from 13th LD) make firefighters from nonprofit corporate rural fire departments eligible for state workers compensation when working for the Department of Agriculture.
         HB 1033*    establish certain provisions with regard to the past tax liability of sellers who agree to collect sales and use tax under the Streamlined Sales and Use Tax Agreement.



         HB 1055*    make an appropriation for the payment of settlement expenses to SDDS, Inc., and to declare an emergency.

         LEGISLATIVE COMMEMORATIONS

         HC 1008    (HJ 217) Honoring an outstanding South Dakota legislator and baseball participant and coach, Representative David Gassman, for his upcoming induction into the South Dakota Sports Hall of Fame.
